Leysan — guide, winemaker and a truly happy person
Since 2006 I have lived in France, a country of incredible culture and aesthetics, and I consider Bordeaux my second home.
As long as I can remember, I have dreamed of travelling, being surrounded by beauty, speaking many languages and working with interesting people. At some point I realised I had achieved all of it — thanks to being a guide.
I graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Languages and worked in tourism for a long time. In Bordeaux I earned a diploma as a winemaking technologist and even made wine myself — to put it simply, I am in love with the world of wine. So I combined tourism and wine and became a guide in wine tourism.
Why "Culture & Wine" if we mostly speak of wine and gastronomy? Because, as a hopeless aesthete, I need everything around me to be beautiful. I love art, architecture and museums, and on city tours I draw parallels between history and the paintings of my favourite artists, so they stay with you even more vividly.
A special tour companion
Dear friends, on many of my tours we are joined by my miniature dachshund, who carries the most famous name in wine — Petrus. He is a very friendly, calm and well-behaved little dog. He has already become a favourite of many of my guests and lifts everyone's spirits even more during our walks. If you would prefer a tour without a dog, simply let me know in advance.
Official guide licence
I am an officially licensed guide in France (Carte de Guide-Conférencier). This state licence certifies my qualification and my right to lead tours in museums and cultural heritage sites.
To keep learning, to delight myself and others, and to create unique, happy moments in life. I would be delighted to share my love for Bordeaux with you.Get in touch
